FTVS (From The Vault Scripts) are short script stories based on my personal dating experiences, exploring themes of secrets, curiosity, boundaries, rage, and tragedy. Few of these scripts will end up on the festival circuit, while the rest will remain in the vault.

SCRIPT #1

Logline: Two artists - a writer and a former actor, live next door to each other, and they form a platonic relationship over a text message, but when they meet in real life, their dark secrets are revealed.
Synopsis: Rachel is a successful writer who decides to travel to Southampton, Long Island, for a week. When she blasts movies on her patio, she receives an anonymous letter from her neighbor, Alex, a former Hollywood actor. Their texting chemistry blossoms until one day, Alex confesses his past. Will Rachel forgive Alex for his actions, or will she end their platonic relationship?

Logline: Two people unexpectedly meet in person and on a dating app throughout their lives. As they grow older, they pursue a friends-with-benefits relationship.
Synopsis: In 2018, Veronica encounters a man, Jacob, whom she briefly met in person at a networking event. Five years later, he discovers her dating profile and swipes right, but their conversation flopped. Couple years later, Jacob swipes right on Veronica again, and Veronica takes the opportunity to become his flirty friend by meeting him in person. Will Jacob and Veronica have a friends-with-benefits relationship or will they part ways?

Logline: At a nightlife event, a woman notices her boyfriend's alcoholic behavior due to a terrible day at his job that took their relationship way too far.
Synopsis: At a comedy/karaoke bar, Alice and Manny's relationship suddenly twisted due ot Manny's drinking. He made an out-of-the-boundary move, which triggered Alice from her past. Will Alice forgive Manny or break it off and move on?

Genre: Horror, Comedy, and Romance

Logline: A 30-year-old religious virgin celebrates her 30th birthday, and her friend throws a surprise party which turns out to be an orgy party.
Synopsis: This script is a mix of Fifty Shades of Grey meets Carrie. A short rom-horror depicts Lily, a Christian virgin who turns 30. Her sexual experience friend, Cat, throws a birthday bash which turns out to be an orgy party because she wants Lily to be adventurous. Will Lily's inner demons emerge, or will she be a saint?

Genre: Romance, Drama, and Religious

Logline: In their 7 months of dating, a woman receives an unexpected call about her boyfriend's past in the church. After the phone call, her mother asks, "What's Wrong?" and then her life tragically flashes through her eyes.
Synopsis: A Catholic couple, Benedict and Marie, have been together for 7 months. Until one day, Marie receives an unexpected call about her boyfriend's past in the church. Without her knowledge, Benedict gives the caller her number, and her world changes when her parents demand her to break up with her boyfriend because of his traumatic past. Will Marie forgive Benedict and continue the relationship, or will she follow her heart's desires?
